We’ve asked ourselves that often, over the years – even as we prepared and packed up our animals and products to travel to events and holiday shows, full of crowds, noise, and rarely time, no matter how hard we try, to visit with our customers as long as may be needed.
When, all the while, here we are, everyday, where even on busy (and sometimes!) challenging at best, hard at worst, days?
We still love the wide open spaces & sky, time with our animals (in the pasture, paddock, barn or sitting on the porch) and simply, living a daily life that allows us to take everday moments to simply Breathe and Be.
Which is just not possible to ‘pack up’ share fully, with others, ‘on the road’. This Holiday Season?

Our Open Farm Weekends mean you don’t have to make an appointment or carve out time for the full interactive tour experience, unless you wish to.
Visit us on weekends in November or December to enjoy:

- We are family friendly place with spaces for small feet to walk, places to sit & rest legs that get tired, are wheelchair and/or walker friendly.
- Hands on, interactive options available with animals/tools for fiber processing
- The most amazing people visit us, year round. Those who share their stories, wisdom and experience. You just might find yourself swapping tales, making new connections or even a new friend, while you’re here.
- No Pets! Our Livestock Guardian Dogs have run of the place. Please leave all pets, including assistive animals, at home
- If you depend upon a service animal but wish to visit? Please Call us to ensure our place a good fit for you without your daily helper.

Storms blow in, move out, and a sunny start to the day may mean driving home in a ground blizzard!
If weather forecast seems questionable and you are driving a ways to visit us? Call first or check our Facebook page, where we will post information if weather interferes with our planned Open Farm Days schedule!
Remember to dress warmly, in layers when you come to visit – the wind can be chilly, even on bright, sunny days this time of year. You might find yourself adding/removing layers 2-3 times, during a short visit!
