Web accessibility is important to us as we wish to welcome any who seek what we can provide during a visit to our ranch. We believe in sharing with our potential visitors the information and tools they need to plan their visit and purchase products or services from us online.
Therefore, we do keep the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines as created by W3C in mind, as we create our online information and options, even while we are continually listening to feedback, reviews left for us on many fronts to update our website to be more useful to all of our visitors, even when, we get busy on the ranch and online reporting falls behind.

Known accessibility issues
We strive to regularly check our website for basic known and potential accessibility issues or to improve older content pages to better meet accessibility for many, including those in low speed internet service areas or on limited data plans for internet access.
Accessibility to online assets, tools and use are many and varied, including how much time our visitors have or wish to spend, learning more about what we offer or placing their order online.
There are a few accessibility issues that we are aware currently aware of. They are listed below.
Older images with no alt-text tag
- We have many older images uploaded to website, no longer in use, but not cleared as of yet (available via older bookmarks saved by our vistiors) OR images with caption text, surrounding text to describe, but no alt-tag text. We are working through our site, to clear outdated images and/or add alt-tags of images displayed in image and photo gallery sections to meet better, the needs of many who visit us online and in person.
Documents
- Our Waiver required for Horseback Riding time at our ranch is provided on our website in HTML format, as well as a ‘view/print/downloadable pdf. form for filling out by hand, signing and bringing with you.
- We are currently exploring additional ways to meet the needs of those who use assistive technologies, to complete and submit the waiver for Horseback Riding, in a more online accessible way, but cannot at this time, reasonably say our online option will meet the needs of all visitors to our website.
Manual Testing by Those who Use Assistive Technology
- We do not currently employ the services of those who provide expert and trained feedback on how to improve our website using a variety of manual, real use of assistive technology platforms or services by those who depend on those same services, every day, for their own life and needs.
- We DO appreciate those who visit our site, and give actionable feedback to make our website more accessible to many.
