There’s a saying here in Colorado (just like many other portions of our country!)…
If you don’t like the weather, wait for five minutes….
From balmy November or February days to a hard freeze or skiff of snow in June, bountiful rains that come and go, winds that blow the clouds around, the seasons of the landscape, animals our visitors love to interact with and we too, ebb and flow with the changing seasons.
But always – there is something to do here. Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter. If it’s cold/windy or blazing hot outside, you can see the stock in the barns or learn how to card fibers in our Fiber Farm Stand. If the day is ‘just right’, plenty of space to sit, stand or walk with the animals. To have your sack lunch at one of our picnic tables, swap stories on the porch or go walkabout with animal friends & protectors, by your side…
